Zainab Kakal is a boundary spanner with a focus on sustainability and social entrepreneurship. She has been working with organizations such as The Blue Yonder, Intellecap, Piramal Foundation and now EMBARQ India.
Having traveled to more than 30 countries, her passion for travel led her to start the consulting division of The Blue Yonder, a responsible travel company where she liaised with Government and private sector for sustainable destination development. Zainab also co-founded Girl Travels The World, a travel programme which funds Indian women who want to travel solo in India with a significant outcome in mind. She is a StartingBloc Social Innovation Fellow and the Outgoing Curator of the Global Shapers Mumbai Hub of World Economic Forum.
An alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Zainab is also a yoga enthusiast and a published poet.
